About me

My job as an event photographer is to anticipate the moment: to capture the true emotion, the connection, and the power of each moment.

In every moment, I seek authenticity: images that convey the energy of the celebration and speak for themselves.

Photographing a party isn't just about documenting it; it's about creating—about turning a fleeting moment into a lasting memory.

THIS IS MY RELATIONSHIP WHIT THW WORLD OF IMAGES

Introduction

Hi, I'm Enrique Miravalls and I'm from Valencia. Photography and video have been with me since I was very young, although I've always felt a special connection with photography.

My first camera arrived in 1976, on my first communion: a Kodak Pocket Instamatic 200. From that moment on, I knew that little device was going to be a part of my life. With it and others that came after, I began capturing memories, and the truth is, I've never stopped.

My first professional experience came when I was about 19. I worked with a street photographer, traveling to popular festivals like Fallas, Holy Week, Carnival, and Moors and Christians. We took photos in the middle of the celebrations and then sold them door-to-door. It was a tough learning curve, but also exciting, because I understood photography as a way to connect with people.

Over the years, a Panasonic mini & zoom 35-70mm camera arrived, an analog compact that opened up new possibilities for me to play with creativity. Shortly after, video appeared in my life: in 1994, I bought my first camcorder, also a Panasonic, and from then on, cameras became an extension of me.

When the digital age arrived, I jumped in enthusiastically: first with a Sony DSC-P100, then with a Samsung S760, until I made the leap to my first SLR, the Canon 60D. Later, the 600D arrived as a backup, and today I work with a Canon 7D Mark II and a 6D Mark II.

I've also wanted to train to grow as a photographer. I studied levels I, II, III, and IV at Revelarte, the photography school in Valencia, where I experimented with many genres: advertising photography, portraiture, artistic nude photography, night and landscape photography, urban photography, macro photography, photojournalism, and more. I've also taken several online courses focused on digital development and editing.

I've been fortunate enough to participate in very special projects, such as being part of the photography team for the INTRAMURS Urban Art Festival, collaborating on the 5th Barreira A+D: Botanical Sense International Fashion Show, and working with INSTASPORT on Valencia Basketball sporting events and fun runs.

Over time, I've defined my path, and today I especially enjoy photographing Fallas, Moros y Cristianos, Holy Week, weddings, and events of all kinds.

Photography has given me a unique way of seeing the world and sharing it with others.

Best regards, I hope to see you soon.
